Spider-Man 2

That's right, they've already made a better version of it.

Gosh...a Rupert Murdoch owned paper screws up?

And here's the story.

That is the biggest problem I have with the right wing press...they take rumor and "speculation" and treat it as fact. They seem to think that journalistic ethics and getting two sources is "liberal crap" and just go with what they heard. Drudge reported on the 5th that Hillary Clinton as a "lock" on being the Vice-President, and the NY POst (which I cannot believe some people treat as a real newspaper.

Hm....I wonder if a "why the right wing is destroying journalism" is a good rant. I haven't posted one in quite a while because everyone seems to be shouting all the time, so my shouting doesn't seem all that important anymore.

Veep! Veep veep veep!

I know it is an amazing shock, but within minutes of John Kerry Picking John Edwards as his VP candidate, the right wing has latched onto their talking points. Three different webpages went with the “It’s an all trial lawyer ticket” attack, which I don’t think will have any traction, and Drudge says it was all manipulation by Hillary Clinton, who HE picked as the VP last night (and magically, that article has vanished like the morning dew).

My own opinion is that Edwards would do as well as VP as just about anyone, he’s a Southerner, and he just shot the latest Bush ad out of the water, which accused the Democrats of being negative. Edwards is so ruthlessly positive it can get a bit overwhelming.

Why do I like him? He announced his Presidential Candidacy on “The Daily Show” on Comedy Central. That’s a pretty gutsy thing to do.

Asylum on 5th Street has started again

Yes, Asylum on 5th Street has started up again after a break by the artist. I think that she has said she will be posting a strip a day for a while, which means she will be getting caught up to her regular schedule pretty rapidly.

I have written over 200 strips for the comic so far, so it's nice to see things finally getting into print that I wrote a year ago. It has also shown me that if I want to get my writing out in a timely manner, I need to start getting a bit more diffused in how I get work out to the people.

Novel chapter 2 is in the hopper, and chapter 3 should be up in a couple of weeks.
